How can I secure a research position at BRF?

Research positions are earned through a merit-based process designed to integrate you into our scientific community:

  1. Membership: The first step is to become a subscribed member of BRF.

  2. Engagement: Once a member, you may propose an original research idea or join an existing project team (subject to availability).

  3. Evaluation: After demonstrating your capabilities—typically through the successful completion of a project—your performance will be evaluated for a formal research appointment.

  4. Direct Appointment: Separately, the Executive Director and the Board of Directors may directly confer honorary positions (such as Scientist or Research Fellow) upon well-established researchers with proven track records.

If I become a member of BRF, will I receive a research position automatically?

No, membership does not automatically grant a research position; rather, positions are earned through merit. Formal appointments are offered based on your academic credentials and your active contributions to BRF research projects, specifically through high-quality publications. The Executive Director and the Head of Research evaluate candidates to determine eligibility for official research roles within the foundation.
