Dr. Sadeed Hossain

Sadeed Hossain is a physician and emerging public health researcher from Bangladesh. He completed his MBBS degree from Ibn Sina Medical College. His research interests encompass mental health, suicide, infectious diseases, injury-related outcomes, and other public health challenges in low- and middle-income countries, with a particular focus on Bangladesh. He has extensive experience in manuscript preparation and quantitative data analysis using R programming.

Dr. Hossain is currently an FCPS trainee in Community Medicine at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH), having successfully passed FCPS Part 1 in January 2026. His FCPS training allows him to combine clinical expertise with rigorous public health research, strengthening his capacity to address complex health challenges at both individual and population levels.

In addition, he works as a Research Associate at BRF, where he has gained practical experience in public health research on mental health, palliative care, psychosexual health, neglected diseases, and understudied social issues such as filicide, parricide, and suicide.
